Forum viewing works fine on my LG Dare, though it does take a bit of time to load sometimes... Will be interesting to see the new format.

Personally, I hate m-versions. Hate it with Amazon, eBay, etc. and immediately switch to their regular version. The great thing about iPhone is that you don't need simplified versions.

The last time SBR tried the mobile-version, it did not go over too well. I expect the same uproar.

The idea is that it is lighter and works faster on 3G. We'll have to give this new option a shot and tweak it if it has potential.

Same here.

It loads fast with the G1. The mobile version probably would be better served to people who just go through their wap browser.

I often post from my iPhone since I'm usually either at a poker table or a sportsbook. I agree with dagger. I generally don't like mobile versions. I have no problem waiting a few seconds for the page to load. Although, I'm curious to see what you guys come up with, Bill...

I use my iPod Touch, placing bets, checking scores & forums, while playing poker sometimes. My poker room has free WiFi. I will check sbr out on Wednesday.

I don't think I have browse on the blackberry but from what I understand they are not built for full featured browsing?

Just had a look at the new one. I think you guys will like it... It has everything the full version has but it's stacked, so no need to side scroll. Also you can read it without zooming in on text. Standby.

Would I be correct in assuming that we would be able to switch between the full and mobile versions, Bill? Perhaps the programmers could include a preference in the user profile as well...

Yes, last time we tossed a mobile version up that was a big part of the feedback... Also keeping avatars.

yes they all are setup for full desktop style browsing now. superfast over WIFI connections as well.

We'll see how small we can get with the text... might be able to get it. With mobile some things you have to give up due to lack of real estate.

This isn't just SBR mobile specific, but one thing I dislike on I-Phones is when scrolling through long webpages the screen starts to pixelate briefly with gray tiles.
