Tolzien just not enough for the team without any sort of consistent defensive play. Not sold on Foles though, he will suck against a moderately good defense later on this year.

Foles is solid and worthy of being the starter. On a team where the running game works - as the Eagles are doing mostly - he's a fine fit. He can be more of a game manager, but he can also make pretty solid throws. He's not going to be an All-Pro, but I think he brings stability. Probably half a dozen other teams in the league that have shaky QB situations would love to have him right now.

And in the NFC East, he's not going to play a good defense ... so if that's your sticking point ... doesn't matter. Arizona is probably the best defense left on their schedule .. all the others can all be gouged fairly easily as they have proven all season.

Philly is the play. Foles could go 6 straight games like this. You want to get on it from the start. Even if Philly loses, the concept is solid. Go with the hot hand and ride it for as long as possible. Don't wait until 2 or 3 games have passed to decided that Philly is a good bet. Jump on it early and don't let any of these games pass.
