Best thing to do:

Set up the date and when you meet tell her to cancel the movie idea = means your the boss
Tell her I want to get to know you so I didn't want to go to a noisy theatre = shows that you care
Go to a nice restaurant and just have drinks and desert = This means your a gentlemen and classy
After date go for a walk downtown or where ever= nothing crazy this just shows you really want to spend more time with her
Seems gay but walk her to her car and just lean in as she is getting in the car and give a little kiss = this means your ravaging pervert but not gay also.
Tell her text/call when she gets home so you know she is ok= mission well done

I don't know. It's not something that really even gets discussed with the women I associate with. You just take turns paying or else split things. I'm not sure what I would think if a woman just sat there and expected me to pay for everything forever. I can't remember it happening.

AAO, ... You pay in cash, they repay it back other ways. Unless your just friends, don't look for her to pick up the check. Maybe it's different with old people, in which case she gets a discount at the movies anyways.
