Not every game is fixed, most aren't, most games have a few bad calls.

But this was blatant. The NFL is laughing at you.

It is important to point it out though when it does happen. THIS is a perfect example of a fix. 1 play and 1 outcome, and 1 call that had nothing to do with the play.

You can see the flag at the bottom of the screen when the kick is still in mid air. This doesn't mean he didn't cheat, I think he did. I think a ref can call a penalty on every NFL play if he wanted to nit pick but thats not what an over time division game is about. Shame on that referee.

If the game was 17-14 in the 2nd quarter there is no way in hell any of those flags would be flying. In the NBA aren't they supposed to let the players play, let the players determine the outcome of the game, not refs and foul shooting? The NFL sometimes has the exact opposite policy, especially today when the Pats were one of the biggest public plays, or last year Green Bay/Seattle in the same situation where everybody was on the Pack, and the BS hail mary interception.

Doesn't matter when the flag is released.

It's more of a safety valve. If the kick is good - flag is pointless. If kick is bad - huddle up and lets find a penalty.

How exactly is this a bad beat? You are supposed to win bad beats. THE JETS OUTPLAYED THE PATRIOTS. At what point were the Patriots supposed to win this game? They're not guaranteed to win after the Jets miss that FG. Use some logic.

If the game was rigged why did the refs wait till overtime. If I was a ref with money one the game I would make damn sure the game didn't get to OT, game would be over before half time. By the way I think its a bullshit call and a bullshit rule.

That guy pushing his teammate had nothing to do with the kick.

It is the equivalent of Lebraun James missing the game winning shot, no foul, clear miss, but they call a loose ball foul on somebody trying to box out Chris Bosh. Totally bogus call. Clear fix.

No way in hell that call is made during the first 3 quarters and probably not in the 4th quarter unless it is the final kick.

If this game wasn't fixed they don't make that call.

call was a bogus call, not sure why the refs were actually looking for that but the flag is def a fail safe. they can always say "there was no foul on the play" even though the flag was thrown.

i was on the pats, more $ on the pats but sharp money was on the jets. it was confirmed on "the herd" on friday afternoon that the wiseguys loved the jets, felt anything more than a field goal was a gift.
