Why would Jacksonville play to win at this point? They want the #1 lottery pick.

They would probably still get it at 1-15, and as slacker alluded to, this may actually be the most winnable game on the jax schedule unless they run into a team resting starters late in the year.

Yeah, SD got up for a primetime Monday Night home game. Should I take a single game into consideration over a fuller body of work? Quite the different scenario traveling to Jacksonville and expecting the same output. Huge letdown spot and as long as Henne is playing, the Jags have a great shot at a W this week.

Jax is going to win 2 maybe even 3 games this year

People buying into the hype havent looked at their schedule, teams they have played as well as WHERE they have played.

They also dont realize how many injuries and suspensions they had and theyre getting those guys back and those guys will improve.

That pretty much sums it up for me. In Jacksonville's defense, they have not had a particularly easy schedule having played 4 road games and only 2 at home. For a team with some obvious issues, their schedule has definitely worked against them.

That being said, Jax scored a total of 5 whopping points in their 2 home games. I don't think it's a good time to be backing Jax in any spot.
