Its funny we are saying Jax is playing better, and they lost by 14 at St. Louis and 16 at Denver (thanks to careless mistakes by an uninterested Bronco team)

OK, there were 3 drops (1 would have results in a 3 yard pickup). But the Chargers seemed to get a lot of pressure on Luck last night, making him uncomfortable in the pocket....which you rarely see from Luck.

This is the perfect spot for Jacksonville. You get the Chargers coming off a Monday night win from the West Coast coming to play a 10AM game that have to know, deep down, that they're never gonna make the playoffs (still play Broncos and Chiefs twice). Plus the Chargers have the bye week coming next.... I think they mentally check out of this game. I'd let the public jack this number up to double digits and then make a solid play on the Jags, with a small play on Jags moneyline.

You know, I was watching some of that Bronco game, I'm not going to say Jax is good, they are all banged up and stuff, but they aren't the 1976 Tampa Bay awful either.

My lean is take the points, outright win, bit of a reach.

Chargers won simply because they were at home. On the road they are nothing more than maybe average. Granted Oakland is always a tough place to go into and put up a victory but I don't believe they are spectacular. Rivers is a good qb, would love to see him on an actual contending team. That being said, Jacksonville is brutal beyond belief. Only held Denver to 14 points the first half i think is a good accomplishment for them considering where this season is going for them. I've always thought a team from out west coming to play an east coast game is always at a disadvantage no matter how good a team is. Thats my own personal belief. I would take Jacksonville on points & even at that for them to straight up win is a reach but I wouldn't put it past the Chargers to have a down game.

Jax is going to win 2 maybe even 3 games this year

People buying into the hype havent looked at their schedule, teams they have played as well as WHERE they have played.

They also dont realize how many injuries and suspensions they had and theyre getting those guys back and those guys will improve.

Vikings are a worse team than Jax all things considered.

Not only will Jax be favored against AZ, they will s I said probably be favored against the Bills by that time, unless they have more injuries.

As for this travel controversy, second time SD has done it this year. Played Hou on monday night (got robbed) then went to Philly for an early game the next week and won SU as a 9.5 dog.
