Gamblers Anonymous is a joke. Went to ONE meeting about thirty years ago and walked out. Bunch of losers sitting around feeling sorry for themselves, claiming they were clean when I KNEW, KNEW they were all lying about not gambling. From then on I kept a gambling bankroll separate from the family money and it was a piece of cake. SEPARATE GAMBLING ACCOUNT. How difficult is that? Never understood how some gamblers can be so sharp with numbers yet not have the self control and money management to work the bankroll.

My father would just wait for my mother to find out (bills, finding him at a grocery store slot machine, calls to her work, bank account empty for a multitude of reasons seized, took it all out, or his work check not deposited for weeks with some BS excuse eventually reaches some VP or president to say he was getting paid on time).
