You can have Death Magnetic. It's nothing like the early years of Metallica. After the Black album, everything went downhill for them. That said, I can't stand U2. Far too sappy for my taste. The early years of Metallica produced some of the best albums ever made IMO.

Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are both amazing records, although as previously said, after the Black Album their music hasn't been the same. Not a U2 fan at all.
