If you have a reliable local then thats the way to go. Who wants to deal with these offshore books and having to eat the ** charges and all the other B.S. find a local who pays and thats all you need.

I only bet locals... I havent dug 2 much into betting online but i do remember i once checked and sometimes you have to wait a few days to get your money? yea okkkkkkkk... I hate having to go to my bookie though, sometimes i cant make it.. and the lines suck sometimes, and cant bet props or live bets.

Having a few outlaw books to go with A+ offshore books is a must have. I have several local "agents" for two major A++ books that no longer offer post up in the US, and these are must have, but they are sharp and tough to beat.

However, I have a local that takes action on a "yellow pad" and his lines are way soft, and offer middle opportunities with the sharp books.

I also think having multiple books is important for line shopping, but to avoid the radar. I never bet more than 2.5% of my bankroll, but if I am getting in a $4,000 bet, I can spread it around so I am not in for the entire $4 dimes at one shop.
