#44Through my years of posting Paver I have literally witnessed guys and gals that wanted to fuk mods. They are powerful people as far as the offshore world goes and books all afraid of them. I would of loved to be a mod and have the power to ban guys and play God with posters and their future. I would pay 5k a year to be a mod.Comment -

#52We'll see what we can do Robyn. No promises. I am the new guy starting out by making coffee, sweeping floors and cleaning the toilets.
I can be contacted at either of the 2 email addresses below, but currently having tech issues in sending mail from these addresses. I've been working on this issue since last night. If anyone needs assistance or wants to contact me via email, please use pete@sportsbookreview.com or thegeneral@sbrforum.com .
I am going to watch and learn how SBR does things with moderating before I go and make any decisions that are not along line with the company's current policies. And, the moderation aspect is definitely not about a power trip w/ me. I am quite humble and do not carry a big ego. I am no better than anyone else surrounding me. I found this quote awhile back and it is fitting to my opinion on moderating.
The key lies not in controlling the surroundings, but in being able to control your own responses to those surroundings... how you carry yourself, your composure and collectedness, how you ask and respond to questions.
I'll be getting with techs today to try and repair the email sending problem I am experiencing so that I can get back to anyone that may need assistance with anything including reported posts. Please allow a few days for us to iron out any problems in getting me set-up for performance and then I think the flow will be smooth among the majority of us.
For any past incidents at other places where I may have upset another poster, maybe even SBR staff, I apologize and ask for a chance with this fresh new start.
Have a great day, SBR.Comment -

#53Mr. General Sir,
just letting you know that I'm close to making it pal...
I hope your time here is well.... is there anyway you can your moderating powers give you the ability to track down Brock Landers? if so, I recommend you do that..and we can all pitch in to send him a fruit basket.
good luck here
Your pal,

I started moderating sports information boards mid 2002, originally given the opportunity by Peep at TheRx, and have learned a lot along the way. Both in moderating and about this industry of on line gambling. I hope to use that experience plus the added personal growth over time to be as good as ever in handling CS issues & disputes, understanding that 'having ever been good' is debatable among the players I have participated with since 2002.

#59Thanks biggamer.
All I really wish to comment about IQ is that the full intent of the business model/practice was in good faith and the model objective was in good faith. The entire intent was in good faith. The future of IQ is TBD and to be seen. I'd rather not discuss publicly.
Here, I'll try and make SBR a better place for all members as best I can.Comment -

#65Welcome General Pete!
Its a great fit imo for the dispute resolution work alone. We have seen slower response times to disputes recently as the overall traffic grows. Its a job that not everyone can jump in and do. If I was a player and could get Bill, Justin and Pete in my corner I'd feel pretty good about getting my dispute resolved.Comment -
