Cowboys to land Ray Lewis & T Suggs?
Interesting report here. Imagine the type of presence these guys would make on a Cowboys defense that isn't half bad, particularly with a shutdown corner in Terrence Newman.

    Cowboys interested in Ravens' Lewis?

Word around the NFL is that the Dallas Cowboys are very interested in obtaining Ravens inside linebacker Ray Lewis if he becomes a free agent. The speculation is that the Cowboys are willing to give Lewis a three-year deal worth between $27 and $30 million, with $25 million guaranteed.

Dallas owner Jerry Jones believes his team is in the serious hunt for a Super Bowl title next season, and that Lewis could help solve some of the team's problems inside the locker room.

The Ravens are expected to begin negotiations with Lewis, who is in the last year of his contract, as soon as the season is over. Fellow linebackers Bart Scott and Terrell Suggs are also in the final years of their contracts.

Suggs' decision to play against the Steelers was a courageous one. Oh, and by the way, he happened to come up with two big sacks

it actually is a dressing room in dallas. Haven't u noticed they have been ACTING like a football team but are not a real one. There is a lot of DRAMA going on all of the time causing their play to look like a COMEDY. TO is the best actor of the bunch, pretends to be a great player but drops balls and then cries win they lose and shows anger when he doesn't get the ball.

Well, they are very much interested in offering him a deal if he's willing to hear it, and clearly they're willing to compensate him in a huge way considering his age and the Ravens likely wanting him to accept some hometown discount.

The Suggs part is mere speculation, but he wasn't too appreciative of not being resigned last year to a blockbuster deal, and was instead slapped with the franchise tag, so if 'Ray Ray' did part ship, one would imagine he'd be very vocal about wanting his main man to come with him. Plus, the guy's a beast and there's no way the Boys wouldn't want to make him an offer he couldn't refuse.

5'er has a point actually. If their was one team that you can call their locker room a dressing room, it would be Dallas'.

Good. Maybe then Ray Ray can get revenge on T.O. for this nonsense.

Nobody makes fun of the Ray Ray dance and lives.

Eh, just seems like a typical Cowboys move. A lot of style in spite of substance. Not that Ray Lewis isn't a great player, but he is going to be 34, and his physical style doesn't age well.

TO and Ray would never get along..... after TO voided that trade to the Ravens few years back.

This would be like putting the Bloods and Crips together and thinking they'll get along.

Rams did straighten out and win a SB when Leonard Little returned from jail.

I don't think Lewis can keep up his production more then 1 year.... already amazed he has lasted this long...truly one of the longest most productive linebacker careers...

anyone know what the alltime record for tackles is? int's by a LB?

Lewis is not a force anymore, Ravens might know he is done.

He was certainly a force this year. If the Ravens had another go to WR aside from Mason, and an experienced clutch QB they would've made it to and won the Super Bowl easily.

Ray is just one man and an old one at that. Can one man come into the house of 52 other guys and start leading them around? No. It doesn't work that way.

Besides, as long as TO is around, he'll drop the passes that matter (& cry about it) and they Cowboys get nowhere anyway.

why waste all that money on sold fart ray lewis when they could just move Roy Williams to Line backer and draft another safety, but then again jerry jones wasted loot on zack thomas so no surprise if he lands ray roids

Shut Down means you are taking an entire side of the field away, I don't think he is feared in that way. Is he good? Yes. Shut Down? No way.
