McMurphy - OJ was found not guilty for one reason... MONEY. People with money go to jail at a much lower rate than poor people for the same crimes. That's a fact. The more money you have the less chance you do time. It's all about the money.
Making bail (having money) is very significant in whether you will be convicted and do time... If Hernandez is never granted bail that will be a huge strike against him but because he has money, he will still have a leg up on Poor Joe Average.

Mass does not have the death penalty.
1st degree murder carries life in prison. If he's found guilty of a lessor 2nd degree murder, that still carries a life sentence with the option of parole after 15 years.
If he's found not guilty of 1st or 2nd degree murder, he could still be found guilty of carrying 5 separate firearms. That has a 2.5 to 5 year sentence.
Either way, he is fukked. Stupid.
