The Sabathia signing was fine, based on his past three years he will live up to the majority of the contract, and probably outperform it for the first few years. The Burnett signing was good because it was a calculated risk. Burnett's injury history has more to do with his mindset, and not his actual injuries, most are arm soreness/fatigue type of problems, he has only had one real arm injury. Both of these players are in the prime of their careers.
