We have a varying degree of gamblers here, from the ultra-compulsive to the recreational. To some this is a drug, to some this is a hobby. Just because I'm closer to the hobby side of the pendulum does not mean I'm "above" anything. I don't think I've ever talked down to anyone here despite being talked down to regularly.

I meant what I said in this thread. For some of us, gambling/sports is just a fun thing to do on the side. For others, it is our entire lives. But I personally don't think that people that don't gamble or don't like sports are any BETTER than any of us. There are plenty of failures in the world, and there are also plenty of people that conform to what society tells them to be and they go through the motions and live dull and boring lives on their short time here on Earth.

I for one am happy to associate with you guys, and to be your friends and/or acquaintances. I don't need society to tell me who is a loser or what we "should" be. Like anywhere else, SBR has its share of great guys and its share of terrible guys; but the solid/good guys here match up to any in the corporate "respectable" world in my eyes.

    I think I just shed a tear.

Dave, you are to nice for this shit. Get out while you can. You still have a kind heart. There are 96% of the posters here that would fvck you over for a 25 dollar free play and yet you put all your time and effort to help them out. i like you Dave, and that is why I am trying to help you. Can I tell you a story? You will understand after it.

I don't think I really "help" anybody, just offer my opinion on things. And I think 4% is too low, at least 6 or 7% wouldn't fvck me over for a $25 freeplay

I'm always up for a story.

Here's the story, Dave. Maybe you've heard...maybe not.

There is a bird flying south for the winter. He gets caught in an ice storm and falls to earth, his wings frozen to his side so he cant fly. Along comes an elephant who shits on him. His wings thaw out, but he still cant fly because the shit holds his wings down. Along comes a lion. The Lion picks him up in his paw and proceeds to wipe all the shit away. And then eats him.

The moral of the story: Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy. Not everyone who pulls you out of shit is your friend. Remember that.
