Tight ends may be an ancillary position to most teams, but this is the Patriots - can't deny that a critical amount of their offensive firepower came from that position. Also can't deny that their defense has been less than satisfactory. So what's left? Running backs? Wide outs? Take a look at some reputable NFL Fantasy blogs and you'll come across caption's like, "Patriots Wideouts, RBs, Promise Many Fantasy Headaches."
That leaves the B & B railroad: Brady and Belichick. Will B & B stay on track, or is there a derailment on the horizon? Doesn't look like the engineer/conductor on this run will be on schedule based on the supporting crew. So it looks like (to me anyway) they'll find it difficult to stay on track. No NFL team can be a powerhouse forever; the 2013 - 2014 season is where NE begins losing steam.
I do see a long season for them this year for sure. They will be trying to trade for a tight end somewhere possibly. I can see them losing the division this season to Miami. They are going to have to reload and this year may be the year they take a step back.

Who knows... Anytime Tom Brady is your QB you haven a fighting chance.
Bill Bellichick is a great coach too.
Not many teams have both a good coach and a good QB...
But yeah i could see them missing the playoffs or even winning the super bowl.
I think the Patriots offensively will not be quite as dynamic and explosive but their defense should be much improved over what they have been the last couple seasons.

Hernandez won't be a tight end in prison. After about a week, he'll be a wide receiver.

Hernandez will be knee deep in the bristol crack game running shit from prison. He's got the capital plus a few murders under his belt. It will be like a second career.
