Notre Dame is horrible away from home but Harangody wasnt at full strength to start with. My opinion won't change on UNC until March. They may win the ACC for all I know but I see them going down short of the Final 4 unless they get a fortunate draw (playing in Charlotte)

It's not shit talking, it realistically looking at the situation. If you realistically look at Pitt, they don't have very good outside shooters. Every team has a fault, UNC included.

UNC's not a bad defensive team, and their defensive effort tonight, while not quite up to their standards, wasn't all that poor. This was a game between the No. 3 and No. 4 teams in the country in possessions per game. Hence the final score. Pace leads to points, regardless of the defensive quality of the two teams. Truth is, UNC's been one of the most efficient defenses in the country.

But they're absolutely overrated, as they are every season. There's no way they're 10+ pts. better than Wake on a neutral floor, as the closing line would suggest.

Ya, it is surprisingly high, although I think that is more based on their superior talent, guys who are talented can overwhelm teams that are clearly inferior. That being said, when they go up a against a team that has a similar talent level, Wake being a good example, they can't stop them to save their life.

As a team, their mindset is not on the defensive end.

I am not a Pitt fan but from what I've seen so far this college hoops season, they are a legit #1 team. Blair is simply a beast on the boards. The kid's amazing. They play great D, they can run, they can shoot, etc. I truly feel this is the year they break through the Sweet 16 and at least make it to the Final 4 and maybe then some.
