Oftentimes people conflate the words "value" and "underdog" as being one in the same in baseball even though that is not necessarily the case. A month ago this line might have been -250. Does anyone bother to handicap the games anymore? Did anyone not see in his last start that Verlander's line was 5 innings, 9k and 1BB. Of the 15 outs he recorded, only 6 came through the defense. Everything is fine with him. It just means the times CLEV hit the ball, they fell in. In a way he was unlucky. LOL anyone who thinks Liriano is remotely a good pitcher. Guy's ERA will be at 5.00 by season's end.
