How can you not take the Pirates @+187 against Detroit
big day for dogs tomorrow and this is the first play that caught my eye. Liriano has looked great since coming off the DL and I expect him to pitch solid again here. Verlander hasn't looked great this season and he is definitely hittable. Also the Tigers bullpen is always trouble as long as Verlander doesn't pitch late into the game and the Pirates have one of the best bullpens in the league. At this price this is a must bet and its a 2 unit play for me.

Pitts definitely a live dog cuz Verlander has been struggling and Liriano is on fire.
But I really hate Liriano personally so I can't put anything down on him.
Lost a 2k bet on him 4 or 5 years ago and have been sour ever since.
I like your play though. Good luck brah

Verlander is still unbelievable in Comerica Park. Don't be fooled by his last start....check the box score again and you will see it was a pretty good start. Liriano has terrible numbers against the Tigers AND especially in Detroit. Verlander all day in this one, holiday game at home in front of a sell out. Look for something like an 8 inning start from Verlander. How soon everyone forgets....

Not saying JV won't bounce back, but, check his numbers for the month of may. He's had four subpar starts in a row.

                I never fade JV
Very risky business, a crappy JV is better than 80 percent of the league.
Who ever is backing Pitt, hope it cashes for ya'all. I'll pass.

lol yes but those subpar numbers came against offensive powerhouses, the indians and rangers. Before that his been his solid usual self...look at liriano he face face the cubbies, mets and brewers..

Verlander stinking lately. Will he even get through 5 innings without throwing 100+ pitches.

ERA over 7 for May. WHIP 1.7 something. Pirates been playing well seemed to be best big dog on the board, we shall see.

On the under in this one. Hoping verlander goes a good 7-8ip and the tigers bp doesnt F up. Also looking for Liriano to throw decent today too.

I fully expect Verlander to bounce back here and continue into a strong June month.

Knowing Leyland, he'll prob let verlander toss 130 pitches. Good thing is Verlander racking up those tosses striking out these pirates

Just as funny saying "value doesn't matter", baseball betting all bout value. Faded Kershaw yesterday so I guess going against "2 best pitchers" has still turned a profit this week

no buddy u can fade kershaw because of the dodgers offense..even if kershaw holds the cards to 1 run its definitely not a suprise to see the dodgers not even score one run...but in this case your talking about the tigers...of course value matters..but when u get the second best pitcher and the number one offense in terms of runs scored...u can throw value out the door...regardless i will be enjoying my win

The value was on Verlander NOT on Liriano. Do not kid yourself into believing there was any value on the Pirates in this game. Best pitcher in baseball against a below average pitcher and a mediocre lineup (cf. McCutchen). Give me a break. Was not it a clue that Verlander was -200 in this game for a reason?
