corey B trotz is the coach's personal lawyer, Mr.Nicky. Rumor has it that he is the best.

Nicky, hun, please let me read over anything Mr. Pavy sends to you prior to your signing it. I would advise against an offshore bank. And it seems to me (in my limited knowledge of books) that the ones you named have reputations for being solid.

          hugs and kisses,

          Nina

ps.....I think it is real cute that RScholar and Pavy are now penpals.

I just think the winner of this poll should win the wager. The voters of SBR are very smart when it comes to these types of matters.

Pavy is up 18-15 right now. Pay the man his $50K.

Hey Nicky, this is just off the top of my head, but here goes. I don't think that you should feel at all obligated to pay a greater stake for the contest than Pavy. I've always been a proponent of taking a shorter end of the stick in business than the other party, it's a great way to avoid conflict and accusations of disadvantage. However, his assertion that interest should be accrued on these monies is almost a little greedy, though.

Can Pavy tell us another investment vehicle that would provide a 100% rate of return per annum on an investment? Were he to win the contest he would have already doubled his investment in a year, something that any venture capitalist would literally soil his underpants over. If he is as serious as he says about hitting 60% on bad weeks, then he should feel his chances of winning are at least equal to that ratio. Basically, interest would be reasonable to expect on monies that are not in play, but since there is a risk of loss involved, he should be willing to roll the dice on a 50/50 stake.

                  See what I'm saying?

                        Gentlemen,

I'm being very reasonable here. All my offers are very common practice in the sports investing business. If I lose this bet then I can hang on to the interest like rebatewager offers rebate back to their customers. Why doesn't Nicky Santoro offer any of his lawyers names to me? I am the only one so far that has proposed a legitimate bank and attorneys. What did Mr. Santoro offer? This is not the movie Casino. You are talking to a legitimate businessman that obeys the laws of the United States. I do not want to do anything illegal to jeopardize my family. Everything I offered to Mr. Nicky is very reasonable. I have actually went out of my way for Mr. East LA/Montreal.

My attorneys have advised me to keep a low profile until all the negotiations with Mr. Santoro's representatives are concluded.

                        May the best man win!

Pavy, I'll try to keep this short since I've been somewhat verbose in this thread already. Why should you be entitled to any interest accrued on the contest stake if you are determined the loser? If those monies were to be debited to the holding account by a financial institution, shouldn't they be the property of the victor, as are all spoils of war?

You need to call the law firm of Carey Trotz. Just google him and ask to speak to Felicia B.G. Buttocks. She has the account number where the $50,000 needs to be deposited. She will provide you the contract than needs to be signed by you or your representatives in the presense of a notary public. Be careful and read all the fine print because sports gambling is not legalized in every state. I will be calling Felicia tomorrow afternoon to confirm the reception of the signed contract and then we are ready to start gambling.

                              Respectfully,

                                    bigboydan,

Nicky is not the sharpest tool in the business. As you know I'm trying really hard to make this contest a memorable event but on the same time I need to cover myself from the authorities regarding illegal gambling activity. You and I are sharp guys and figure it out. I'm surprised Nicky is so naive being a professional gambler. I can assure you I can make him fold a Royal Flush in poker. He ain't the brightest kid for sure.

I know it Mr.Pavy. It's pretty obvious that Mr.Nicky is trying to weasel out of this contest just like he did with LT a month or so ago.
