#51Just a quick question...As far as funding the BETCris account, let's say i fund it with $100 now, would I have to reload it when I beat The Prick? Or is the deposit now enough?

#61can any of the mods confirm kmdfox's interpretation of the $100 needed in your Cris account (as I think he has done so correctly, but I just want to be crystal clear)?...
kmdfox, thanks for pointing that out as it is much different than last year...still a very good deal though...Comment -

#62As far as I can understand it, if you beat the Prick you need to deposit $100 into your CRIS account to claim your prize, even if your account already has funds in it ... The "fresh" $100 and your "prize (bonus)" is subject to their rollover requirements ... A deposit is required every time you win ... If you never make a withdrawal, you lose by winning ... A rather interesting way of conducting a contest.
Although I am a CRIS customer, I do not know what their rollover is ... I do not take the bonus when I deposit ... I tried to find out off their home page but was not able to find it ... I emailed customer service at 9am (13.5 hours ago) but haven't heard from them.Comment -

Assuming that CRIS requires the same 3x rollover as they did last year, this would mean that assuming a -110 line set and no scalping opportunities, after a 75% free play conversion the expected value of the $200 prize would be between $119.32 and $129.78 and the expected value of the $500 prize would be between $313.64 and $334.56 (the exact value would depend on bet size and account balance).Comment -

#66ganchrow,
if you could get an answer on that, I'd greatly appreciate it...usually SBR will note if a bonus or prize isn't cash, much like they did with the betjamaica NCAA Basketball tourney brackets where the prizes were cash...
here are some other questions I have:
will one be allowed by Cris not to take a 10% or 20% bonus on the $100 deposit one usually takes? I know that Cris gives you that option regularly, so I'm assuming we'll be able to do so here (thus not adding to the ammount of the rollover from the $200 beat the prick prize).
Also, say you deposit your $100 and they put the $200 in your account (with the 3x rollover, as it was last year--which I realize could change this year)...assuming the 3x rollover, you'd have to make $600 worth of wagers before a person would be eligible to withdraw any of those funds...Do I have this correct?Comment -

#68It is a bit confusing but I'm pretty sure that the $200 is a cash bonus and not a freeplay but subject to rollover before withdrawal.
With $10,300 in weekly "prizes" (500x1 and 200x49) plus 5,000 in deposits to claim the "prizes" a rollover of 45,900 is needed before anyone sees a dime ... I'd be surprised if the 5,000 in weekly deposits translates into a 1,000 in withdrawals for the contest winners.
Bottom line is, a contest prize (bonus) is more of a great "deal" for a 100 deposit and not a true prize for beating the Prick ... If you beat the Prick 17 straight weeks, you get 17 "deals" on $100 deposits with 15,300 in rollover requirements ... Could it be that the real winners are those that the Prick beats?
Well anyway, there is the season ending prizes, so count me in.

#69The main idea of a contest would be to get participants to use your product or service ... It would be in the best interest of CRIS if the Prick loses to at least 50 people every week ... There's your reason why he's still the man after that pitiful display last year.Comment -

#70A tout who has to lose. There's a concept!
I will give you losing picks! Guaranteed. People could make money by fading you, but they could never blame you, unless you gave too many winning picks, which wouldn't make sense to blame someone for.
I need to sleep.Comment
