Agree with you on OKC-MEM game, it should have gone OT. How did Durant miss those free throws, I'll never know.

I was quite sure that NY-IND would go over. It has nothing to do with the quality of defense, more to do with lack of quality in offense. Unfortunately this game is less likely to go OT. NY is yet to outscore IND in any period.

I didn't see many plays with much value tonight, but I was on the Indiana/NY under....I see that a ton of people were on the over and I am a little surprised.

Sorry man, that doesn't make any sense in a statistical manner anyway.....if you know anything about stats, you will know that is not the way it works. It could easily take 1000 wagers to get to the mean and he could even have another, better run right now....there is no law of statistics that says after a hot streak you have a cold streak.....

DB-- I like enjoy reading this thread and value your brain, as well as those who comment on it. I don't often comment here but today all my picks were the same is yours, which I made before reading your thread (we didn't do so well did we?).

I don't believe in computer models, because I think the best computer is in your brain(or mine). But of course, that means watching all the games (which I enjoy; my wife not so much) and factoring in trends, hot streaks, and the refs(among other things), as well as evaluating the psyche of the underdog. I usually get my ass kicked betting on basketball, but I'm trying to learn.

I'm much better at NFL football (NFL- I'm slightly above break even there; baseball: I don't have a clue). But I suspect there is value in correctly guessing the swings that happen in the NBA. So until I learn, I'm only risking SBR points on B-ball.

I don't necessarily tail you, but I'll definitely be following your thread throughout the playoffs, and maybe by the finals I'll be able to place bets on my online account (BetUS) and make some money. So thanks for your integrity and your courage to bare your soul for us puny humans.
