Not surprised that Sweeper is only capable of shallow analysis. Because the forum is regulated, moreso than in years past, it is also what the mods/ owners want it to be. Once upon a time, this place was far less regulated. The points system was one of the site's downfalls. Added the points system and then realized that a bunch of regulations were needed. Added the Pro system, and then realized that a bunch of regulations would help lead to more people going Pro. Yes, the system has changed, but when has SBR ever deregulated itself? Classic case of power and control. Right now, the model is being changed to fit the new direction. With this shift, banning has increased and a number of other changes. More regulations will be needed to ensure that the site complies with its new target market.

Sweep, enjoy your posting now, because in the future, if SBR goes the Vegas route, you'll be bad for business. T'ing off at some hispanic kids gets laughs now; in the future, you'll get a ban.

Yeah, anything that is deregulated and therefore liberated from anything that obstructs freedom is always better. Society is going in the same direction, less freedom more regulation all over the world. We are losing the freedom to choose how to live our lives with every law/bill/bylaw/etc passed. We need to repeal laws, not create more.

I hope people realize that and also realize that our governments want us to think that we need them to regulate everything or else the world will end, when in fact the world was fine before income taxes and swat teams and the all the other departments and bureaucracy our tax dollars are stolen from us to pay for. They want us to think we need them, that way we will let them become more and more draconian.

With more power, there is abuse of power and corruption and less freedom. Like the world all around us, everything is getting worse unless we all as individuals care enough to do something anything about it.

Just like the original poster in this thread, he saw something getting worse, didn't like it - and is at least doing something about it by creating this thread. Thanks and hopefully more people do the same in the real world too.
