Let's face it, PT drives SBR to some extent.

PT is the bar, where ball-busting, drama, humor are the commodities.

Betting strategy, angles are shared without drama on the subs. There are some great sub forum discussion for every sport, try the tennis forum as an example, I've learned some great betting tips from that board. The same for college football. I've also enjoyed reading the think tank.

People post picks on PT because they want the traffic that comes with it. I'm always amused when someone tries to start a picks thread on PT and then bitches because they are getting trolled. What did they expect?

It is simple to avoid-- post on the subforum, where mods run a tighter ship on trolling and you don't see much of it.

It is impossible to completely remove spammers. No site can. Most of the spammers that come to the forum a poster never sees because their posts are automatically moderated by the system and never hit the forum. That's why you see some threads - a lot in the Entertainment, Arena and Newbie forums - with 1000s of views but only 4 posts. This guy has been around for close to 2 weeks and will give up soon. He's already had to change his posts several times because words he's trying to get through keep getting blocked, including his email address. He just keeps adding more spaces and changing his wording but those options will run out too just like they did 6 months ago for that other guy who was pulling the same stunt for another scam. Just please don't be stupid and repost it.
