the 12 places paid out is a good change instead of top 20. i undertand team USA's frustration at how hard it will be to make their team. but also you must wonder how many players in team world will take this seriously after not being able to purchae anything from the sbr store and points being pretty much useless to them (e.g katstale, panamabrad). and those are the guys that i know of. and the grand prizes are poker pts after 1st place !? come on...

in any case this event is always fun and i will try to play it as often as i can. those 4 handed tables with all yur fellow team mates watching you is pressure filled and lots of fun. good luck all.

pavy there are def more then 12 world players but a few of the top world poker players cant buy anything from the store. if they dont play in this then shitty poker players will make team world. lol like after the top 3.

I dont like the format, but it is what it is. Its just a huge advantage if your playing anywhere outside the US.

interesting i like the 12/40 for the dailies much better. should lessen the time of the events and encourages more aggressive play. team usa will be hard to make unless u play every day, even then itll be a challenge.

Are you f serious???? First of all there is no Yugoslavia anymore second of all it would be a very strong team if you combine all ex republics in 1 team. And USA would have to play A game to win versus all best in ex. Yugo together i would say in in 4 win series like NBA playoffs would be mostly 4:2 4:3 USA.

You indeed have to sign up with the SBR link but luckily there are other books available than just those.

I'm thinking the US will probably do just fine this year. But as always the World team will kick their ass I'm sure. That's the only team I'm concerned about.
