Haha! I have owned a class III sound suppressor that I had on a 22 rifle...those, along with short barreled shotguns, and other NFA guns aren't too hard to get. You just pay the $200 tax stamp + the cost of the suppressor, or labor to cut down your shotgun, etc.Originally posted by innovatorthen get a class III mofo
The fully automatic guns are the real PITA. They had to have been registered as a class III weapon prior to 1986 to make it legal. This makes them either a.) hard to come by, or b.) too damn expensive.
I don't really have a desire to own one, but they are fun to shoot. There is a full auto friendly gun range not too far from me, as long as you have your proper papers, where I have shot other peoples...not too much fun anymore because of the cost of ammo. You can empty your bank account REAL quick.
