Make no mistake about it, the Rockets NEED to win this game as bad as the Lakers do, a matchup against the Thunder is almost guaranteeing them a sweep, I could see them pushing the Spurs to 6 or 7 and maybe even winning. Defense is out the window in this game, Lakers give up over 100 a game and you should easily expect both teams to sail over this number. I can't for the life of me see why this number is below 104 but I won't argue, Rocket up-tempo offense will be in full force and I see this being a 3-5 point game either way so points will be had in bunches.

This is my biggest NBA bet of the year.

I buried myself with that Rockets/Lakers bet. Record still looking real sharp but taking some time, that bet wasn't a practice in smart bankroll management.

Pacers ML +205

Both Pacers and Knicks had to go 6 to put their opponents away but I thought Pacers looked a lot better than the Knicks. Celtics minus Rondo should have been swept and a lot of people had this going 7 after game 5 and possibly Celtics pulling off history by coming back from 3-0 to win. Knicks looked like a streaky Anthony and some average shooters and big men who, although they can defend, can't score the rock. I think the Pacers guards and Hibbert down low will cause the Knicks a lot of trouble tomorrow. No play on the series but this game 1 is ripe for Indiana to remind people they are a top team. Indiana is much better defensively and younger than Boston, if they could cause the Knicks trouble I see Indiana causing them worlds more.

Knicks TT Under 94


Knicks averaged 86.25 points against Indiana over the regular season, never cracking 94 points in any of the 4 games. They averaged 87.7 in their first round series against the Celtics, never scoring over 90 points even though they won the series. Even when game 4 went to overtime they couldn't break through 90 points. Add into the fact the Hawks averaged 89 points in their 6 games against Indiana, the 94 seems to be more than enough cushion to make this a bigger than usual play. Knicks could easily win this game and still score under 94 as well.

Both teams put up some runs yesterday but I don't think the normal bad outing following a great day at the plate applies here. Both starting pitchers are mediocre/average at best and with these two being high powered offences I don't see how a 5-3 type game is out of the question. Expect to see some long balls in this one.


2-Team Teaser: Spurs/Warriors Over 196.5 - Heat -6.5


Heat aren't a team to take to have a weeks worth of rest and come out rusty. Chicago is still very much beat up from the Nets series, this has blowout written alllllll over it. I personally think the Heat lose 2 games tops the entire playoffs depending on who they play in the Finals and if Indiana wins their series against the Knicks. Tim Duncan owns the Warriors, absolutely owns them, knowing this I don't think the Warriors game plan is to come out there and D up, they need to run and gun and turn this into a shootout in order to have a chance at keeping it close. Spurs will most likely cruise over the century mark and we'll need to the Warriors to crack 90 for a great chance at a win. I don't see Warriors being shutout in this game.

Also threw 1300 SBR points on Heat ML, yes I know the return is nothing but I see this as an easy 100 points coming my way.
