Florida usually catches all the breaks in the tournament. Florida Gulf Coast will beat Georgetown, Minnesota will beat UCLA, then some team like Arkon will make a run to the Elite 8.

Last year when Louisville had like 5 players with 4 fouls and losing by 18 points with 10 minutes to go, the refs swallowed their whistles and let the Ville push, shove, harass there way back into the game and beat the Gators. None of their players fouled out of the game. Then one year before the exact same thing with UF beating Butler by 14 points with 10 minutes to go only to have them rape UF with zero foul calls and stole that win as well.

UF has had history of getting out to big leads where the refs try to even things out where UF ends up in a cat fight that they can't finish. I've seen the script too many times.

Everyone that plays us says the same thing, at times it does appear we have 7 defenders on the court. PLease stop w/ the fouls, we are just more aggressive than anyone else.

You hit this on the head. I am a Florida grad, and have watched every basketball game since 2000. Florida can be physical inside (especially this year with 2 true bigs), but when the refs do not call fouls they tend to go outside and jack up 3's. Granted they are often open 3's because of good ball screen action, but they often take more 3 point attempts than 2s. This is most often how the Gators lose. I think that Vegas likes the Gators more than the public and Florida will be favored all the way until the elite 8, and possibly even in that round too depending on who gets through. They could also choke on Sunday and not make it to the 16. I have them winning the South as well, but I am a little biased.
