Blitty, if I can help you out I'm more than willing.

Truth is, these places exist in Montreal as well, you don't need to come here just for the girls, you can get anything you want there too.

Either way it's all good, if you wanted to visit Toronto it's about a 45 minute flight from Montreal with many daily flights.

Mexicans can stay up to 6 months. Same goes for Americans.

Once 6 months is up you would have to apply for an extension or leave the country and re-enter to keep it legal.

        Visiting Canada: Who is eligible
        To visit Canada, you must:
        • have a valid travel document, such as a passport
        • be in good health
        • satisfy an immigration officer that you have ties, such as a job, home and family, that will take you back to your country of origin
        • satisfy an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit and
        • have enough money for your stay. The amount of money you will need can vary with the circumstances of the visit, how long you will stay and whether you will stay in a hotel or with friends or relatives. For more information, ask the Canadian **** office in your country or region.
        You may also need:
        • a Temporary Resident ****, depending on your citizenship (see Visas and Exemptions below)
        • a medical examination and
        • a letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.
        Travel documents
Transport companies, such as airlines, must ensure you have proper, valid travel documents when you enter Canada. If you do not have the proper documents, you may be delayed or denied boarding.

        Visas and exemptions
You may or may not need a Temporary Resident **** to visit Canada, depending on your citizenship. Even if you are exempt, though, there is important information you need to know before you plan your trip.
If you need a ****, see How to Apply for a **** in the Learn About section below to find out how to get your ****.
If you do not need a ****, see **** Exempt – Important Information for Travellers in the Learn About section below.
If you are not sure, see Do You Need a ****? in the Related Links section at the bottom of this page.

        Inadmissibility
Some people are inadmissible—they are not allowed to come to Canada. Several things can make you inadmissible, including involvement in criminal activity, in human rights violations or in organized crime. You can also be inadmissible for security, health or financial reasons.

        Criminal inadmissibility
If you have committed or been convicted of a criminal offence, you may not be allowed to enter Canada.
Criminal offences include both minor and serious offences, such as theft, assault, manslaughter, dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. For a complete list of criminal offences in Canada, consult the Canadian Criminal Code.
If you were convicted of a crime when you were under the age of 18, you can probably still enter Canada. See the Related Links at the bottom of this page for more information about admissibility.

Countries and territories whose citizens require visas in order to enter Canada as visitors

Unfortunately my car wasn't the only car on the road that day.

I wasn't "following" him, it just happened we were going in the same direction.

Better weather, if you don't like the cold you won't like it here.
I do have a sister in law from Florida living in Ottawa that has no problem with the cold after being here only two years.

Dan, you would have been impressed, messed him up real bad (once the camera was shut off), didn't need the "evidence" of a video to land me in the can, and on "dumbest criminals" tv show.

two bedroom apartment will be approximately $750 - $950 per month. Canadian dollars. Depending on features/extras.

                            $1 Canadian = $.80 US Dollars

Yeah, Toronto weather really isn't that bad, the lake tends to moderate temperatures, yes there are days of -20 but they are not very often and temps rise and fall with the jetstream and wind direction.

We also get way less snow than Buffalo, because we are not on the western edge of a lake like they are.

Yes, Toronto is further south than Boston, Minneapolis, Seattle. Our climate is very similar to Chicago, cold winters and hot humid summers.

Problem for Americans is that they are treated no differently than anyone else when it comes to immigration, they must go through the process of applying and providing necessary documents fees to live/work in this country. Plus the fact they are foreigners once they leave there own country makes it difficult. I know, my parents "immigrated" to the USA in 1989, came back to Canada in 2001.

Sorry, to disappoint you pucker, neither my parents or me are Newfies, never even set foot anywhere east of Quebec.

It's only a stop sign if there's a cop around.

Actually, I was multitasking - holding the camera steady (it was on a tripod on the passenger seat most of the time), talking and driving, I would have actually stopped. I was a bit distracted.
