2) GWB did nothing including taking the entire month of August off on vacation.
3) A simple executive order could have stopped that and it could have been complete in 2 weeks. If congress overrode him, let it be, but this current Bush is as culpable as the rest.
4) Neo-garbage will never admit that, and Bush had 7 months and 3 weeks to do something, yet not 1 action to shore up port security other than try to sell the ports off to some Arab nations after 911.

Perhaps you have lived a sheltered life and have never heard of an airPORT. Ports means seaports and airports; your lack of vocabulary escapes me. So, once the airports would have been secure, as they are now, the ability to get box cutters on board, the ability to defeat the cockpit door and a lot of things would have been secured, so 911 wouldn't have happened even if your guy's hobby in the ME were avoided. The key here is homeland security, not a trillion dollar slaughtering of ours and theirs.
