Last night 11.5 point underdogs Portland Trailblazers beat SA Spurs straight up by 30.

Not a cover, not a lucky last minute 3 to win by 1. 30 point blow out.

No one had a thread saying this bet had value, submitted a writeup about some matchup problems, Portland are hungrier, etc.

A 30 point blowout the other way means the line was off. Way off. And no one recognized it and alerted the forum.

And one game does not mean the line was way off at all, lines are made to get equal action on both sides, not predict outcomes of the games.

Giant this is blatantly misleading. Throughout over a thousand games this season a handful or less will deviate from the spread by over 40 points. I'm not saying we should have seen threads about taking the ML on an 11.5 dog, but value on the dog + points has got to appear in some posts if we are to be taken seriously

Since you missed my point I will try to explain again. We see all these daily posts in main forum and sub forum about plays but no posts about this game. I wasn't looking for a game to bet on and prob wouldn't have bet it if I saw a thread on this game, but the lack of recognition by cappers in this case makes me very wary of my SBR brethrens' abilities. A total whiff

Also, non pros really should not call pros clowns. That's just the way it is

Cen, Portland hasn't done garbage on the road this year. Taking them +11.5 would of been +EV but the way San Antonio has diced teams up... even without Parker... scared people away. Taking Portland (on the road) against any team this year is like Black/Red on the roulette table.... so what kind of value are we looking for? It just seems like when the score hit 25... San Antonio went to bed early.. and quickly went to 40.
