What is walters going to do when the lakers become what the Dodgers became, a complete joke of a franchise as these people fight over control of it?

When I said lakers were in trouble I had know idea Jerry was dying. I just figured he was going to 'retire' and let Jim and Jeannie run the how like they have been the past couple years (badly). But now that he is gone and the team is now officially in the hands of all the kids (6 I believe) how bad is it really going to get?

These guys never had a pot to piss in before they made the TV deal, their whole 'wealth' was the value of the lakers. Now they actually have some real money and the Lakers are actually worth something more than a name it will be interesting to see what happens.

I had no idea he was checking out. The only thing I heard was he went to the hospital over the weekend. Before that, I didn't hear anything about him being ill. He was the greatest sports franchise owner of all time. Very sad day that he had to check out
