Jay, Red Rock was fantastic. Really, my favorite hotel to stay in Vegas:

1) Real nice pool area.
2) Cost is > many places, but still < Strip.
3) Rooms are great.
4) View from room is great.
5) Good video poker machines.
6) Decent poker-room, w/ daily tournies.
7) Nice sportsbook.
8) The maid cleaning my room was really nice.
9) Good restaurants.
10) And the cocktail-waitresses, ooh-la-la!

Good chance I'll be there late July into early August. If we cross paths, I'll buy u a drink.

having just hit the casinos in Louisiana, and with Daytona and the Coke zero this weekend, followed by ten days in central fla (epcot, disney, etc.), and then returning to htown for a two weeks, then hitting Atlantis in the Bahamas in late July, and a poker championship cruise in December out of Miami, and then the Bash in late Jan/Feb, it's either gonna have to be mid fall, before deer season, or early 2018..... gonna be a while

A trip with Donker and his wife would be a lot more lavish & exciting than my Vegas trips. Anyone puts a steak dinner on the table & Jay Vegas is there before its cooked to Medium rare....no joke. Just ask LVHerbie or One Under!!

Steaks are hard to come by with my BR.

The Giant, when this thread started there was a lot of negativity and criticism. Lots of insults and mean spirited comments.
I really miss that. For the most part everybody has been really nice and positive over the last year.
