i live in NC and normally see every carolina game. carolina is NOT a good football team, they are WAY overrated right now. and they will get exposed.

carolina is 2-3 ats in their last 5, 0-2 ats in their last 2 at home.

since their bye,
they played terrible @ oak and only won because oak was even more terrible than they were
came close to losing to det at home
got their butt kicked @atl
and got lucky @gb

tb's defense is going to be the difference here. carolina's losses this year are against teams with above average defenses. WHO has carolina beat? all their wins have come against below average defenses.

the only thing that gives me pause is to what extent the injured defensive players that are out for tb will have on the game.

if it wasnt for that, tb+3.5 is gold. i still might play it small.

I also live in NC and the panthers are imo the most overrated team in the NFL. Sure their record is good but when looking at them play week in and week out they are easily on the verge of blowing their season. They've looked horrendous the previous 4 weeks or so before getting their act together last week against a team that people also have rated higher than they really are in green bay... GB's loss to Houston takes away from Carolina's win in my mind...

I'm waiting for 3.5 though it's a no play at 3 as I think the winner of the game wins by 3 (or in a tampa blowout again...)

going to be close, after they lose tonight they may be able to bounce back and beat denver next week.

then they will still need one more win to secure a wild card. otherwise it will probably be a tiebreaker.

but carolina is easy to beat, stop the run and put pressure on delhomme. a team that can blitz effectively and have cover corners will beat carolina. they could easily lose the next 4 games.

One question & one point...

Is Cadillac playin tonight?? If so he's due to put up numbers...should be 3rd game back. (plus tampa is great against the run which will leave too much for Jake to handle with his 12/9 (td/int) ratio

And my point is any info like home teams in the nfc have been winning lately or tampa plays strong on monday night games....those stats are crap....other teams success at home have no affect to how other home teams play..... its JUST STATS.....more importantly look at what the teams did in the recent 3 weeks and whos injured, whos not makin alot of catches or big runs then look at how they fared against teams they played that are similar to the one they are playing tonight. just my 2 cents and maybe an extra nickel GL to all

FYI - Tampa moneyline for me.(not a big play) Home field will be a non factor by halftime. Tampa wins by more than 10

I played Tampa +3 (+120), im on an 8-0 run in the NFL right now, so i could be due to lose? But i think Tampa is the right side tonight.
