duno what you could possibly have seen lately that would say they would win 2 rounds in the playoffs.

you actually said they would be the 8th seed and get dominated in the first round, if they won 2 rounds why wouldnt they win the west?

for their playoff chances i dont see them catching utah, so that leaves the 8th seed pretty much as a 3 team battle between them houston and dallas (who is playing well and a game back of the lakers). portlands in there but they appear to be fading.

nah.. the stress of being out os a playoff spot wil be enough..

Kobe bad shooter now.. frustrations mounting. they will miss.

HOWEVER. i do hope they make it, because i do look forward to 4 games like last night's blowout
        loss to the Clippers...

that's 12 hrs of blowout basketball and free $$

hard not to root for that

The thread starter has no clue about sports whatsoever.

Lakers stink, just like his plays.

Ratzz = the guy who openly admits his two favorite teams are the Heat and the Thunder

Ratzz = the guy who tells us at halftime he went "huge" on the Bobcats over the Lakers.......with the Bobcats holding a double digit lead and getting 6 points.......but...........when the Lakers storm back to win by 7.......he changes his story to "I was only on the Bobcats 1st half".

wow. i guess this is what Laker fans need to do to experience victory these days. ok.
Heroin addicts switch to Methadone, and Lakers fans... well, they do this

LISTEN TO THIS GUY GLOATING ABOUT BEATING THE BOBCATS. wow.

**Clippers are my third team... Thunder, Heat, Clips
though really i should be Clips fan over Thunder,
I run my faves on a waiting list. most deserving./time in the league
                Paul is older than Durant

i called the Clips, End-to-End last night, 1H, and Game*(even the 2H before the posted line)
and it all came in. fading the Lakers is free money *
and it's guys like you that keep it that way, because you are compelled to bet
on a fantasy. So the books have not yet adjusted. (so thank you i guess)

The biggest Joke yesterday was not the Lakers,
it was the clips being favored by a single-digit line.

Billy Malters is losing it. it's a rough time.
watch Kobe shoot 20% in the All-star game.. *

no playoffs.. Howard leaves... it's just gonna be Kobe and Nash..
                  can't wait 'til next season

might be even better than this year

i am in a bit of a rough spot with the Lakers tho'
'coz i came out very early and said they would miss the playoffs// (first 10 games)

which is happening.. it's is so certain, just look at them..
but secretly, i do hope they make the playoffs, because they are a riot, and there
is so much money to be made..

so on the one hand: i want to be right,
and on the other hand: i want to have a great time, and make free money..

who can forget these gems from Game 4 last year vs. OKC at the Staples?

just look at that nice-fat-chunky 11-point Laker lead

                        post-game celebration (Kobe)

well, not quite post-game (still 7 ticks left)

but he knows already that the next game will be his last-ever playoff game.

I'll think they'll catch the Jazz for sure and could beat the Spurs, they luck out not having to play OKC first if they get the 8 spot.

Neither the Spurs nor OKC cares about eliminating the Lakers in the first round. Doesn't matter if its the Lakers or Jazz, either way they are gone fishing in the first round.

The Lakers may be finally gelling together the way the Heat did with their first season with LeBron. Obviously it's taking a lot longer and they need to get some more convincing wins.

It depends on who they get. It sure makes a difference in matchups.

I just find it funny how the Lakers are "coming together" becasue they beat the Bulls and Raptors at home. What just happened against OKC? Neither OKC nor the Spurs fear the Lakers. It's laughable.

It's not because they "beat the Bulls and Raptors"..........it's because they've won eight out of ten and are playing better. Are they an elite team? Absolutely not. At least not at this point. When Gasol comes back.........do they stand a punchers chance against the Spurs? Yes. Against the Thunder? I highly doubt it.
