the way i play at a 30cent buyin tournament while i am working and checking lines is not necessarily identical to the way i play in a $1500 buy in.

my handle on bodog is "mike", probably couldn't have gotten that if i was late to the party

i used to play at least 40 hrs/week just on bodog as a prop player and software beta-tester

ANYONE understands that a guy that sits with a 20bb buyin ruins the game for a group of people playing a full stack game.

How do I know this? Because poker sites started creating tables where the min buyin was 50bbs along with deep stacked tables (they also create short stack tables for those that like the push/fold).

SBR isn't big enough to create all these different tables and it is ran by the players. When everyone at the fukkin table wants him to buy in full, its pretty clear we would be playing at a 50bb game.


I would create a poll in the poker forum, but it might be close to 50/50 since there aren't that many players. If I were to ask this on 2+2, I bet I'd win 80-20% (and 15% of your 20% would be guys just trying to be funny and ruin the poll)

rudy i agree with that. but the problem is with sbr poker points. how do you meet rollovers? it sucks something awful to play .25/.50 or .50/1.00 all day just to get 100 points.

and i don't want to irritate anyone (or get sworn at) for buying in to a 2/4 or 5/10 game with 200. so it's a dilemma all around.

it ruined the table dynamics and its a bs move.

at a 6 person table with full stacks though, 2 people are ridiculously screwed when 1 sits with a min buy in.

No i usually just to this at 2/4 or 5/10 where the hyper aggros hang out. Also, i dont like buying in for such a high percentage of my points bankroll. Amazing how i am getting criticized for proper gambling habits. You guys must need some sunday drama

i never understood this logic. There is a minimum buyin and a maximum buyin for each game, both online and "bricks and mortar". Players should be allowed to buy in anywhere on the spectrum without fear of ridicule.

I think criticizing someone that is just trying to have a little fun with poker points is more detrimental to "the game" than someone buying in for less than you think they should buy in for.

Well there is reason online poker rooms "banned" shortstacking from 20bb minimum buy in around 2 years ago to now minimum 40bb and i would love to see that happening at SBR.

Is just annoying seeing players get in with 20bb lose it and again rebuy with 20bb for example milwaukee mike
is doing it constantly.

Is other that you have 20 points to rollover and decide to go to NL100 and flip it(i like to do that when i have those) but is other thing you have 200 points to rollover and always go to table with 20!!!
