Everyone knows his strategy is to put you to the test for your stack so why not start small? Frustrates the hell out of him

I was there today, blew a 275 rollover. Had kings on flop against pocket 2s. Guy caught runner runner flush after calling flop and turn.

Probably not coming back anytime soon.

i never understood this logic. there is a minimum buyin and a maximum buyin for each game, both online and "bricks and mortar". players should be allowed to buy in anywhere on the spectrum without fear of ridicule.

i think criticizing someone that is just trying to have a little fun with poker points is more detrimental to "the game" than someone buying in for less than you think they should buy in for.

i am here to learn. please explain to me how i am ruining a game if i have a 200 point rollover and buy in for 200, i really don't like playing for 4 hours at a .50/1.00 table just to meet a rollover that might get me $10 if i'm lucky.

While I understand and basically agree with your point. I also understand Rudy's point, someone buying in for the minimum really affect the overall play of the table. It causes an allin fest or at the very least a "bet, flop, push" only strategy. There is very little play with a small stack.

Mike just has no clue on table dynamics.

If everyone buys in full stack, or atleast 50bbs and 1 person fukks its up with the min. Atleast 2 people are getting royally screwed on seating arrangements.

And with centaur, you dont even see a flop. its all in or fold preflop.

Only person mad at what happens to the game is Rudy, and maybe Louisville but I think he is just teasing me.

Rudy thought a good solution would be make it a 500 min buy in.

500 min buy in at a 1000 max buy in table

Once again, I and other players like Moneyshot, etc. are playing well within the rules AND poker etiquette. Rudy's whole strategy is to be more crazy and aggro against another sizeable sack and he can't do it against players with not much to lose.

lol at i have no clue about table dynamics. if you can't adjust your game, then leave the table. i have played live poker for 20 years, average maybe 20-30 hrs/week.

if you want to have a discussion where only people that agree with you are allowed to discuss it, and nobody else has a clue, you can always talk to yourself
