What a terribly vague and useless criterion "top" is. Some guys posted a lot and on average were solid while they did it (JJGold) while others pick and choose their spots to make insightful remarks (RogueScholar) or to bury people (tacomax) or your rare poster who posts simply to try to be as entertaining as possible (buztah). Usually these posters don't posts picks and are kind of useless for a sportsbetting forum but are still "top" posters in their own right.

Then you have top posters who tend to post winners in all sports (paco) or those who shine in specific sports (DennisGreen). You could say they are "top" posters because they are trying to help members win money but usually aren't much for chit chat.

Then you have posters who try to make SBR "real" by posting videos and sharing their personal lives with the forum, and in that sense are "top" posters because they aren't afraid to show everyone who they are (opie1988).

In the end a true "top" poster would be someone who transcends all these fields, being able to handle themselves in Player's Talk, The Saloon, and also show off capping skills by providing members with winners. There are very few posters who are able to do this, in fact, the only one I can think of and consider a true "top" poster is shari91.

If you're wondering I don't consider you a top poster in any of these categories, lakerboy. You are actually one of those posters who would probably benefit the most from never signing on SBR again because you need attention to what I'd consider an unhealthy level.

He prides himself not on real life accomplishments, but how many people he ran off the sbr forum chat room.
