SBRJohn, I thought there was something more solid on the horizon. It kinda sounded like online gambling could be legal in the entire US soon.

#39Yahoo and MSN are huge companies, but that doesn't mean that they are respected on the internet. If a company like SBR goes to bed with these companies, they're going to need a boob job, which means that they couldn't partner up without SBR severely restricting its forum. Yahoo censors people left and right...often, for just posting a political message that conflicts with their agenda.Originally posted by LordVodkaAre you joking?
yahoo.com is #4 in the whole world. MSN is 16 in the US. That's great. You don't think SBR or RX or most any site would love to be in that spot?
Google became the hot place to go to but the other sites get plenty of visitors.Comment -

#41Respect or not why is Yahoo #4 worldwide. That's no easy feat. At the end Yahoo sees $ and that's all they care about.Originally posted by High3rEl3m3ntYahoo and MSN are huge companies, but that doesn't mean that they are respected on the internet. #43Yahoo provides email services and is the leading fantasy sports provider. They are one of the most vanilla companies in existence. So is MSN. They maintain their positions because they try to appeal to everyone, which means being the most PC as possible and remaining shallow on anything that they touch. They have become a wishy-washy joke without an identity, outside of their email services. Yahoo might see some potential in SBR, but SBR would have to sell its soul to work with Yahoo. Then, if Yahoo senses that SBR provides a lucrative service, guarantee John and others get squeezed out. There's no way John and SBR remain autonomous. Ever hear of: business as usual?Comment -

#44I have two yahoo email accounts. I once posted, without being disrepectful, a comment critical of the President's policies before the election. Other users were replying with their own thoughts, which contrasted some of my own. One asked a question and I tried to answer but was blocked from doing so. Whenver I tried to click a yahoo article, I was prevented from leaving a comment. Problem solved when I logged into my other yahoo account. I have also been locked out of my email account for receiving an email from a client in Saudi Arabia. I was able to log into my other yahoo account, but couldn't access this one for a whole day.Originally posted by PAULYPOKERThat would end my posting here immediately
