I hipe that is sarcasm, they have more road games than home games and the teams they have to play are much harder than the teams they have played so far. Lakers will be lucky to win 37 games this year. Tonight was exactly halfway thorugh the season and theyre 17-24 SU, so even 37 wins allows them to play sub 500 ball and still get to that number. They need 45 wins I would say to make the play offs/ You think this team can go 28-13 the rest of the way? They could play Cleveland, Sacramento, Charlotte and New Orleans 5 home and 5 away each and probably not win that many games.

If Jerry Buss hadnt have died and lakers were given games left and right by the refs the past few weeks they would still be 3 or 4 games under 500.

Toronto game total gift, New Orleans, a melt down but refs helped Lakers close it out. Atlanta another frigging gift win Lakers made half their points in the 4th quarter from the foul line. refs totally bailed them out that game. Dalla and Portland games both very favorable calls for the Lakers.

But I said it the day Jerry Buss dies, that the league would put the Lakers in the play offs. So no surprise in the least. Thats why the NBA a a whole is a joke. Utah complete meltdown helped them obviously, but even still Lakers are not guaranteed the play offs Utah schedule isnt that hard now and if they can play anything close to deent they will pass the Lakers unless the league continues to gift the lakers wins the rest of the year.
