If the right candidate is black a team will hire him. It's about coaching abilities not color of the skin. Black players will listen to a white coach if they know their job is on the line but they tend to play less hard for a black coach because they think he won't release them.

I think you mean cornerback. There are a lot of white Safeties in the NFL. In fact, any white guy that can play CB in the NFL inevitably gets moved to Safety, look at Eric Weddle for example. Is this racist? I dunno, but I find it interesting.
