im pumped. Took off work tonight just to watch this game. As an Irish lad myself I will be rooting for ND...that and it will prob be about 20 years before they play in another Championship game!

And if you want to play the silly comparison game. How's this one. Michigan scored 28 points on a vaunted SEC South Carolina defense. They scored 6 on ND.

Oh, and Georgia-- the team that had Alabama on the ropes, was tied at 31 against Nebraska in the 4th quarter. The team Wisconsin put 70 on.

South Carolina was inconsistent this year and like many sec teams, don't play well out of their element and home stadium. Bama is a different story. They already lost one, if I were to touch this game, I wouldn't bet against Nick Saban who, like their own players, wants to affirm the SEC with a one loss season and national championship. Actually, you're wrong.

When all 4 teams were undefeated-- Ala, Oregon, KState, and ND-- it was ND that was ranked 4th.

ND didn't move ahead of any of those teams until they lost.

South Carolina took apart Georgia 35-7.

South Carolina was 11-2. They lost to LSU ON THE ROAD IN DEATH VALLEY--23-21. They also beat Clemson on the road (The same team that beat LSU in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl).

The only bad game they played was their beatdown at the Swamp agianst Florida. That's it. Where are you getting this "inconsistent" tage from? Is it based on anything in reality?
