Also people have finally been able to watch hockey with the Spengler Cup and World Jrs it will be a better transition now that people are so fukkin desperate to watch real hockey after seeing Canada or whoever play overseas. People think the fans will boycott, etc fukk that arenas will be full unless you live in the south.

I agree with you here. I don't think you'll see a boycott from fans like what happened with MLB back in the 90s. The NBA played a 60-whatever game season and those arenas are still full every night.

I hope to hell the NHL starts soon. Although, it has been nice watching the WJC and Spengler Cup

The guys at the books here in Vegas were on it before New Year's Eve and they were somewhat bullish on a mid-January start.

The old-timers are plugged-in pretty well here. They had the NBA, NFL, and MLB down pat as far as negotiations are concerned.
