I've been saying no way they come back but lets be realistic this is the last straw. Owners told Bettman a lockout is not an option. Been reading a lot of articles today and feel good that they'll agree to the latest offer. It has basically everything the NHLPA wants....won't be surprised to see them start up Jan 19.

Also people have finally been able to watch hockey with the Spengler Cup and World Jrs it will be a better transition now that people are so fukkin desperate to watch real hockey after seeing Canada or whoever play overseas. People think the fans will boycott, etc fukk that arenas will be full unless you live in the south.

I expect a deal too, they are only inches apart.

you might be right. games have already been cancelled till jan 14th. If they cancel another batch of games the season is pretty much over as they will be missing more than 50% of the season. Doubt they risk losing the entire season at this point as the players will be missing paychecks for the entire year.
