This country has too many idiots walking around anyways. I bet a recession is just what we need, no money for welfare moms, no unemployment benefits, no programs to prop up the weak. They had security at the hotels. Did you actually read the story on how these terrorists did it? They used GPS devices to navigate (you can buy at Best Buy), they used rubber boats (you can buy at Bass Pro shops), they used AK-47's (you can buy at any gun shop in Georgia) and landed on the beach in the middle of the night and attacked the hotel that has security.

Now tell me if I wanted to do the same will the US coast guard or local police here in US have stopped me if I landed on Myrtle Beach, SC or Panama City Beach, FL at 3:00 am in the morning and attacked the local Hilton as I described you above by where to buy what you needed to cause carnage?

Actually, at the risk of being labelled 'racist,' gun and knife crime are predominately perpetrated by young black males aged 16-30 and by people who are either illegal or have been taken in as refugees. The explosion in crime in the UK is a direct result of poor border security and an inability to come down hard on ferile youth.

That's why people like me and millions of others left.

Come on Guy There are whole streets/hoods here in LA that the Police wont go into less than 3 or 4 cars deep. I did some Research i lived there it has nothing on LA ... dont want to hurt your feelings or anything but i went through rougher areas in the Paris area like Saint Denis and others. The only time i really felt unsafe was on my flight from Luton to Paris... Easyjet planes are shit.

Mumbai attacks: Terrorists took cocaine to stay awake during assault

Terrorists who battled Indian commandos for 60-hours last week relied on cocaine and other stimulants to stay awake for the duration of the fight.

Officials said drug paraphernalia, including syringes, was recovered from the scene of the attacks, which killed almost 200 people.

The heavily built men, who had undergone training at a special marine camp established by the Lashkar-e-Taibat (LeT) terrorist group in Pakistan, had also used steroids to build a tougher physique.

"We found injections containing traces of cocaine and LSD left behind by the terrorists and later found drugs in their blood," said one official.

"There was also evidence of steroids, which isn't uncommon in terrorists.

"These men were all toned, suggesting they had been doing some heavy training for the attacks. This explains why they managed to battle the commandos for over 50 hours with no food or sleep."

One terrorist used the drugs to keep on fighting despite suffering a life-threatening injury.

Drugs are commonly used in India by workers in jobs where a lack of sleep is demanded, such as truck drivers and security guards.

The 10 men who attacked prominent Mumbai landmarks were able to hold off hundreds of India's best trained special forces by mounting sophisticated ambushes, maintaining a constant, steady rate of return fire and a superior knowledge of the layout of the buildings seized.

The gunman captured during the attacks on Mumbai has told police he underwent months of commando-style training in an Islamist militant camp in Pakistan.

The training was organised by the LeT and conducted by a former member of the Pakistani army, a police officer close to the interrogation said.

"They underwent training in several phases, which included training in handling weapons, bomb making, survival strategies, survival in a marine environment and even dietary habits," a senior officer said.

LA is not like this at all at least where I lived.every city has its rough parts,but to say that all of LA is a war zone is not true at all at least where I lived in griffith park.Where do you live in LA? I wonder if the new mayor is doing a shitty job,because I loved where I lived.

Good post Tom, I've lived in the UK all my life and have now lived in and around L.A. for three years. The difference between L.A. and London is, in L.A. you know where NOT to go, in London it's not so easy, the decline has been that quick.

It says where i live check under my Avatar... I dont live in LA city limits. I wouldnt want to I grew up in LA county IMO its turning into a shithole. YOU can find LA news on the net its crazy the crime here. I didnt say all of LA is a Warzone, Or ALL of LA is a shithole. Korea Town, East LA, South Central, and some parts of West LA i wouldnt want to call home. There are good people from all these areas but they are not for me. Theres alot of Multi million dollar homes in LA, some really nice areas but also alot of crap areas. Hope that cleared things up for you
