2 different people called in here that were supposedly relatives of different players saying the players called them saying he is gone. Both guys had detailed info and sounded pretty credible on the radio. They gave the players names etc... One was a punter and I forget the other

From what I have been hearing he was so close to coming it wasn't funny and backed out. Supposedly his wife had a lot to do with it. Not wanting to uproot the family... Fukin bitch, LOL

On Tennessee's end the only real issue I have heard for any coaches out there is the fact that there is a disconnect between the athletic department and the academic side. The chancellor doesn't care for athletics and has been hard to work with. Believe it or not, there have been issues of UT not being able to get kids in school because of grades that would get in at other SEC schools. Supposedly Cheek and Hart worked all that out after the Dooley firing so Hart wouldn't have to worry about that, but the perception is still out there among coaching circles.

UT also doesn't have a big in state recruiting base so they have to get most players from out of state. I don't think that is a major issue and Louisville is in no better shape as far as that goes.

I don't think there are many other issues.
