Have helmets gotten worse? I mean yeah athletes are a little stronger and faster than they used to be but it's not that much different is it? Maybe the big contracts these days create a lot more stress and drama for these players than there used to be.

I guess between being bigger faster stronger.. the juice these guys are taking... the big money... the pressure to get the money and be successful.. most of these guys come from nothing to having more money than they could possibly dream of... but most also dont know how to properly spend, save etc...

Wow...I believe I have just been parachuted into the Jovan Belcher fan club...

But, I saw an interview with Belcher's neighbor when he was a high school superstar. The father/neighbor said that Belcher was a neighborhood terror. He constantly beat the shit out of his kids. The father complained to everyone including the police about Belcher but the school protected him because he played ball.

So the neighbor has to leave his house and move to northern Florida to get away from Belcher.
