Let's sit down and think about how close you are to someone (close in terms of proximity)

-Shoot someone with a 9mil you can easily be 10-15 yards away
-Stab someone with a knife you have to be within arms reach
-Choke someone you likely have multiple body parts in contact

You probably don't realize that killing someone else is not very easy, especially when you take proximity into account. Do you think it is more difficult to fire a gun across the room or stab someone in the throat?

Even shooting a gun isn't easy. American soldiers fired over 50,000 bullets for every enemy that was killed. Statistics from wars show that many purposely miss.
