NBC has flexible scheduling, meaning they can switch out of a game.

It starts in Week 11 each season.

So NBC could have flexed out of this game, and they could've flexed out of the Lions game as well.

but SNF on NBC is the only one that can flex. Thursday and Monday night games cannot be flexed.
