Poker for MAc user's... So do i have to buy windows to install on my mac?

Non pros can play tourneys. Poker points you win there are the only type of points non-pros can use to play the ring games.

And You can play rings with your tourney winnings to roll them over.

under Windows sounds only play when the poker window is not in background.

Maybe WINE does not pass the focused signal to the poker client properly.

Just a guess

The release for leopard do not support sound
you could try downloading the Lion version which supports sound but may not work

Downloaded all the stuff and it works great. Only thing is within my first 5 hands I get drawn out on. I have AK, he has AJ, none of us get anything until river when he gets the J. Great start to poker here.

I think the upgrade is like 20$ from the one before lion
honestly I don't know because my gf has a mac but I don't
its kind of a scam to upgrade to mountain lion because it requires 10.6
so you'd have to buy Snow Leopard then Lion then Mountain lion and each one is 20$

If i have a 2007 mac will this work? All other programs i tried were uncompatable with my old mac. I nvr use that mac but if i cud play poker on it i might start

Call Apple and let them know you are on an older mac. They will send upgrades for free .. well least they did for me.

the requirements here are more the OS you have not how old your mac is (that would only be a problem if it couldn't run a required OS)
anything 10.4> is supported but 10.7 is the only version you can get sound with
however if you have something earlier than 10.3 the developer of winebottler says he may have older versions but you have to email him to request them
