That guy is a cancer on the Knicks. To much damage done to be fixed. He has to go. If they cant find a trade by Jan. I think they'll waive him.

i think it's pretty crazy that the knicks are throwing in the towel for the next 2 yrs...i think it's pretty safe to say they have reason to believe they will get LBJ

he definitely is a good chip considering cap space

i actually like the guy and think he still has good game
who said he was "offered" to play??

i have a hard time believing that, when players refuse to play they usually get suspended

yeah i agree the situation is not the norm....you'd just think that the knicks would 'look' for a reason to suspend him or dock him pay

I personally don't think this is all for Lebron like Panic has said. That class of 2010 has a few players that can lead teams to the title. Lebron, Wade, Anthony, Bosh, and Amare(I believe he is one also not 100%). Either way if they land any of those 5 they can all florish in D'Antonios system. Plus the trade to get Harrington I believe was a great move for them no matter what they have a plethra of guards and needed another post player. Not to mention a post player that can shoot the 3 that will be wonders for their offense. I think they messed up a little on the trade with Randolph, but if they can land any of those guys in 2010 it would all be worth it. It honestly doesn't matter which one Duhon isn't a stud a PG, but he can control the game well enough to win ala Paxton. They have some decent young prospects in the paint and they are in the East a 500 record is all you need to get in to playoffs and they still have a shot at that. it will be interesting to see what happens with the Marbury situation if they can get a decent young guy out of him or a decent draft pick.

landing lebron is 1st prize, but a few of the alternatives are very good too

Knicks taking two steps back to eventually take three steps forward. Best moves they've made in years. With those two players, maybe they get a 7 or 8 seed and get bounced in the first round. Without, they miss the playoffs but build a better team for next year and beyond.

Knicks fans: keep on dreaming about 2010. James is going nowhere because he is the leader and not the follower. Money will follow him no matter where he will be playing- Cleveland, Akron, Moscow, Madrid etc... If Cavs start winning NBA titles- he is a CAVALIER until he will retire in 12-15 years.
That freak with potato face, whatever his name is, jersey or j-z, is trying to lure him to his j-z nets to make some $$$ of James train but James is too smart for that. If Cavs win this season and next season's title and James would still decide to leave winning hometown team, then only one word would describe his personality: LOSER. Loser for life.
